Tel Aviv averages 530.7 millimeters (20.9 in) of precipitation annually which usually occur from September through May. The most precipitation fall in winter, usually with thunderstorms and sometimes as hail, snow is very rare yet occurred one time in February 1950. Tel Aviv enjoys long daytime with more than 300 sunny days a year.
